Ruth's Chris Steak House Opens New Franchised Restaurant
Fourth location in Pennsylvania, 125th Worldwide
Heathrow, Fla., July 17, 2008 -- Ruth's Chris Steak House (Nasdaq: RUTH) today announced the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, bringing the total number of restaurants to 125 worldwide. This is the fourth Ruth's Chris location in Pennsylvania, joining the Ruth's Chris Steak House locations in King of Prussia, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. It is the first for franchise owner John Metz.

The Ruth's Chris Steak House in Wilkes-Barre is located in the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Hotel. The restaurant offers seating for more than 250 guests, and offers two private dining spaces. The restaurant opens daily at 3:30 p.m.
As a celebration of its opening in Wilkes-Barre, Ruth's Chris will be supporting local association and charitable organizations that align with the company's core values.
